Air hockey , tabble tennis, pool, and baseball ALL IN ONE

So we all hummmed and aahhhed on what to get little foot for christmas, so it took some thinking but we finally decided. And well we cant get her off the all in one table game ! Which is ok its keeps us all busy but boy oh boy, we dont get a break from this thing. And everytime she wins she changes games so we cant try to beat her at it to tie it up or never mind to let us win at something!!!   

She loves air hockey , and tabble tennis , is her favorite two. On the table!  She stands on a stool to get some leverage and does she ever get leverage, the power that comes out of her is amazing!

And keeping score , dont worry little foot does that to all on her own , and she is fare to , beleive it or not.

CHECKERS!!!! Caught on very fast

Brought out a big board had 3 games , and we all played 2 out of 3. Checkers was the best. My little one is a very fast learner, to smart for her own good! So her and I play against my dad , first game we won , second game I let her play mostly by herself , against my dad , with very little help. And she did great close game but she got cornered and BOY OH BOY she didnt like being cornered, but what person actually likes being cornered. And we told her theres someone esle who loves playing checkers and shell be back in April or May next year , so 4 or 5 months to get her ready , and that means ME TOO ! Cause im sure im in for a BUTT kicking , as per usual! ( LOVE U NANA)

Tobogganing......... WEEEEEEEEEEEE

So My daughter and her friend and i went toboganing , the other day. Fresh snow fall , was great. Lots of snow angels were made. And many rides down the hill. They had a blast , and we came into warm up with some soup and hot chocolate! The girls had so much fun, they wanted to go back outside but needed to dry ski pants and jackets they were soaken wet !  It will be a great LONG winter. I better buy some ski pants of my own , otherwise I'LL FREEZE !!!

Maybe we wont be spending alot of time inside this winter BURRRRR, UNLESS its over MINUS 40!

CANT WAIT !

Look like the SNOW is coming for sure

Two days ago looks like the last time we play soccer for a while, we might play in the SNOW, still see how cold it gets! But we were outside in the cool air taking it in , and well of coarse we couldnt end the night on just soccer , came in and played CANDYLAND and SORRY !  And guess what MOM won both games and my little one was cool with that as long as her papa didnt win anything.

He had brought her timbits and we got our hot beverages , to sit back and kick it up!

Was a fun night and many more to come !

Lots of games in one night

So how many games can you play in one evening. A span of 2 hours,  we played 2 games of TWISTER, I had it easy I just had to spin my little one and dad had to find the colors ,  2 games of CANDYLAND, I actually won one game and so did my lttle foot, dad still had not one yet ,  and 3 games of 3D SNAKES AND LADDERS, my dad finally won a game and i won the next one,  and last but not least SORRY. Boy oh boy as soon as we stopped playing my little one lied down and was ready for bed.  She was so tired she passed out on the couch. Using the brain like that is draining but she learns lots this way instead of sitting there watching tv and playing playstation or xbox, or DS games. Which gets you no where. Until next time , oh yah we still have NO SNOW , which is AWESOME but when it comes i think we are in trouble, sorry guys and gals for saying that :)

BEAUTIFUL WEATHER..... CANT SAY ANYMORE !!!!!

Its the second week of november and its plus 15 ou and no snow... CANT BELIEVE IT
My daughter my dad and I have been outside playing some baseball , my daughter is using her new bat she got for her birthday , and is hittng those balls like crazy. I am so impressed how much shes connecing ball to bat at the age of 6.

We ar still bike riding , somedays we are wearing mitts, but theres no snow. No rain either, we have a win , win...!!!!

Still playing soccer too ! cant forget about the first sport, shes played.  Her favorite, so far

So theres no being stuck inside , playing games yet , its no where cold wnough to stay in YET !!!!

And well it also helped that internet was down for almost 3 weeks.... LMAO! 

Middle of October and plus 20 - 26

Its beautiful outside and still riding the bikes and playing soccer and shes even picked baseball, one of my favorite sports , BASEBALL, i was pitching the ball to my dad while we were all playing catch and guess what she wants to pitch like me too. THATS SO COOL MOM , I want to watch you play a game ...... Thinking she just might be able to watch me play next summer , Right Lisa?????

I think it would be nice if she played baseball like me when i was growing up, Getting hit was not the best part but how many BANANA SPLITS i won , for all those home runs i had.

Pulled out my glove and showed my little one and she said , wow mom now we can both play and we wont hurt our hands anymore?

Wonderful weather .................

Well i havent been able to play alot of games as ive been taking in some walking , swimming and trying to cycle, have a hand injury but good thing i dont need two hands to ride a bike! Swimming is good for my hand and well walking is just good, in all senses!

Playing soccer with my little one and my dad , the sweet that comes of his face, is priceless. And well i never new how much a 5 year old can make him sweet just kicking a ball around and playing goalie!

Bike rides nothing to be said just being outside is great !

Well its hard to be inside when the weather is great so untill we freeze for winter , the games inside will just have to wait!!

Wii Sports Golf-World Record-14

So I played a few games of golf this summer and well had lots of fun with friends and family. Now that winter is coming might try the virtual golf game, And see how that goes, or play golf on the wii. Any takers to try a game of virtual golf with me and my dad this up coming cold winter we will probably have? Playing golf is not as easy as it looks , keep your head down eye on the ball watch your swing, follow through its alot of work and to actually hit that little ball , well after a few drinks it gets a little harder, and more fun !

Guess WHO ?

Well playing the GUESSING game of guess who , with a 5 year old ...... Mmmmmm. So the both of us pick a character and all of or other characters are up so we can both see them all. We have a set of blue cards and reds ones. Now we guess what color of hair she has  picked (BLOND hair) for a character and  she says  no , no blond hair , so i knock down everyone who has blond hair. So she asks me if i have someone with a hat and i say no , no hat , so everyone wearing a hat knock down. and so on...... Sometimes there fast games and sometimes the games last a long time, but she always has the patients to play it out win or loose. And we can play sometimes 5-10 games in a row before we take a break or stop playing. So it takes up a good amount of time and energy and lots of thinking, for the both of us. So grab a the game and go play , HAVE FUN

F A L L , whats going on ......................

Well very windy , very rainy and chilli ! Whats going on with this weather man....... the leaves are falling off the trees and all turning pretty colors.The sun comes up later and the sun goes down sooner , less time outside to play and less sun to soak up.  My little one is excited about playing in the leaves and making a mess with them all. She is even asking if she can rake all the leaves up for me. Im like .... SURE you can rake'em all. Have fun go ahead i said. , well time for more games inside then , lets see what we have to play with this fall................ until next time

The imagination of kids........:)

The kids from imagination of doing skits to playing mario kart wii , I love the imagination of playing school , school is about a week away and by the sounds of it they all want to go to school now. One was a teacher the others the students and they were learning about seasons , it was great , and when the skit was all over they ran down stairs and they wanted to play mario kart. So i set it up and away they went taking turns it was great kids at heart playing. One extreme to the other and short spans of things to do. WOW can i be a kid again , It was awesome no need for a board game when you have your imagination, It works just as good when the kids ask you to sit in the front row to watch the play!!!

What , i would not like to be in your shoes right now

Well i know someone who has now been out of work for a long time due to hurting one ankle and the other knee , and not very mobile ! And trying to keep'em busy , Is going to be almost impossible ! So lots of card games , suduko's easy , medium and very hard! And of coarse lot and lots of board games. The other parts of the day when your not playing games is the hardest part of your day , and to whom ever is helping you out ? Will the clumsiness ever stop, or is this who you are. Gotta love yah !

WIIIIIIIII !

Whats going on today in the world of Wii ?  I have played bowling , tennis , golf, Dance, Mario cart mario brothers, Now yes you can get lost in these games for hours and can be family orientated, My daughter and my grandma and i , do some bowling, and we have a blast , my daughter and i have played tennis and baseball and good old mario brothers and mario cart we dont play to long maybe 20 to 30 minutes at a time but we have fun.

You see a 5 year old holding a steering wheel and cant sit still arms everywhere and i cant do it , slow down mom ur winning or shes excited because shes ahead now. Its great , and its teaching her that she cant win everytime and that its ok , just like when she played soccer this year so its a great learning tool to as long as its not abused !

Puzzles Puzzles Puzzles

Well ive done alot of puzzles lately with my daughter and my grandma , 100 piece puzzles , 500 piece ones and and 1000 3D puzzles , now that one was crazy to do! Took awhile and i never gave up as it was hard and the comments from my grandma and the laughter WOW the stomach muscles are just hurting , How fun or interesting can puzzles be , well try it out spend some good old family time together, its alot of fun.  And sharing ice cream , or freezies, or some awesome waffle bowl with stawberry's brownies , and whip cream , you cant go wrongwith that , so on that note guess what im going to eat .............. You guessed it oh yah forgot to say the waffle bowl was also chocolate DIPPED

A game of Gin Rummy !

Well its been an interesting couple of weeks as my computer had a mind of its own and i needed to get it fixed !  So in the mean time I was keeping myself busy aswell as my grandmas. We played cards like crazy , And boy oh boy, I would win some hands and then BANG she would just get me. Like i never new what hit me !  We play who ever gets up to a 100 points first looses! Surprize guess whos lost every SINGLE GAME! You guessed it ME. So after i feel like im gonna win she comes up with these hands to sock these points to me and then lets me win a few hands, and its like she dangles me something to hold on to just long enough to say Ha sucker now im going to finish you , and we had lots of laughs and she had laughed so hard her stomach hurt , or she coughed so hard from laughing, and me well it would have been easier for me to bend over and she could just kick me because it would have been alot easier then all that dangling of here you go you can win this game this time , and snap im well over a 100 points. Best time ever spent playing cards with my gandma though! I would never take that time away , and the memories or her laughng a life time ! PRICELESS

Cricket ..... I would love to play one day ! It looks like a great sport to play and well.... put a ball in my hand and apparantly i know what to do with it they say , so i just may have to give it a shot and go play with my friends one day in the park.   I know i will enjoy it what about YOU !

Its time for some BLACK JACK

Well if you dont know how to play , all you need to know is how to count to 21, without busting (going over 21) Picking a table and finding poker chips for playing at home or going to play in the casinos. Your choice , family and friends,  fun with some money or going to casino to play to win or lose lots of money! If you can count pretty good and watch those cards come through , you could become a good counter ! So have fun cause i think im playen this weekend , for fun of coarse with friends, so come and join in and if you cant count we can teach you very fast !

Tennis what a game !

To play tennis out side at plus 30. The four of us! What a day and to jump in a pool to just cool off was amazing ! The balls going flying out of control or the ones that didnt go far , we just had fun and thats all that mattered! You dont need to be a pro to play and you need is to go out and have some fun,  kids, adults, grandparent, yes even grandparents thats who I  played with this weekend ! It was absolutely great to see my grandma play. So go out and have a great time !  CHEERS

Very HOT outside, what to do when it PLUS 40

So we are absolutely tired and exhausted from playing soccer and bike riding ! Well I am anyway , but my little one never seems to run out of that wonderful thing called energy soooo !  I pulled out the wii and we played bowling and we played tennis and baseball and still had energy, Then i thought well lets do something a bit on the slower side , and thats exactly what i needed we did puzzle after puzzle after puzzle , finally guess who said they were tired! My little one! So moral of the story you dont always need to do crazy activities all the time even the simple puzzles are brain teasers enough for some !

TABLE TENNIS .......So much fun hitting that small little ball

So you have 2 paddles or 4 and a ball. A small one at that! And well how long can keep a small ball going over a table and a tiny little net. And of coarse lines and an edge to keep the ball in. Sometimes you can break a sweat and sometimes you can get hit, too ! Now take the challenge and play the game , set up a tournament , its alot of fun , family and friends. Give a shot  COME ON Y'ALL

Darts ....... Who new !

So a friend of mine called and said hey were in a darts tournament, wanna come see us play? So i said sure why not ill come check it out ! 

So I meet them where they were playing and I was quit amazed by how many dart games were going on and how many people were there for darts !  Then I watched them shoot there darts ! Looked pretty easy watching them , but I never tried to shoot some that night. They're scores were like in the 3 hundreds soo im pretty sure i would never get anywhere near that score , so i just had a drink and watched ! Sometimes watching from afar is just as good when you have no idea what going on , and how frustrating it is as I saw on some peoples faces!  But the best part,  I got to see a friend from out of town so playing games sometimes can bring people together  !     :)

What a day of rain and thunder, WOW ..... The streets are flooded , the back lanes are flooded !
And all the lights in the sky, The knox church was hit and a chunck of the top came crashing down. And its a very old church. Hope they can fix it.  So what to do on a very rainy day ???????????

Teaching CROKINOLE or shall I say teaching me !!!!!!!!!!!

So with the long weekend come and gone! What did you all do ?  I got to try and play CROKINOLE !
Anyone play this game before! It was alot of fun !  And then when you try to teach 4 , 5, and 7 years olds well then thats a different game all together, pieces go flying fingers get hurt and who need to count points with them ? So all in all they got some read fingers , lost some pieces , im just glad they didnt  break the board , they got so excited when they got close to the hole in the middle or when they knocked any piece out of there way ! It was great hope you guys go try it out!

What a wonder day !!!!!!!!!!!!

Couldnt  have spent the day doing anything else ....... Who would ?
Went for a bike ride with my daughter and my cousin and went to assinaboine park and spent a long time in the trails and went to the swings. Then we had a journey home on our bikes , very windy but still a beautiful day. Went home and grabbed lunch and went to my aunts and we all had lunch together, then we went for another bike ride and went to a park and went back to my aunts and spent the rest of the day outside with my mom and dad playing socccer and goofen around. So once again spending the day with family doesnt beat anything......:)

Snakes and Ladders

Do you remember plaing snakes and ladders, when you were a kid ? I do ! But have you played the new 3D snakes and ladders! You actually get to ride a ladder and go on a wheel and spin it and of coarse you get to be sent all the way back home and the best part is i still play with my dad but now i also play with my daughter too ! And the things he is teaching her, she can never play the same way with other kids and adults as she does with my dad, BEST part is she knows it, MY devil child VERY VERY sneaky with my dad ..........................

A great game of soccer :)

At 5 years old......

What do you do with a soccer ball ? A little scared, you chase that ball around, running in cirlces and all the kids in bunches. You wanna kick that ball but your scared, but your haven alot fun, and huffen and puffen breaking that sweat. The rush you get when you score , and the sad face when you kick it out of bounds. And you hang your head low because you cant chase the ball, once you kick it out of bounds. You look to side lines for a cheer or GO BEARS GO they just look for the encouragement, and there off running again. With a smile on your face there off and there journey continues...... GOOOOOO BEEEEAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

ABSOLUTELY Foosball

A great game of FOOSBALL , you know you played hard when you have blisters on your hands from gripping the handles to tight. And when you spin them to hit the ball POW.  Ive seen the sweet drip off people from playing so hard and for so long. And when you have people cheering you on to win the adrenaline rush you get and the eager to win. Its ALOT of fun, YOU should try it sometime !

A great game of cribbage with the family

So im 15 years old and i join in on a game of cribbage with 3 other adults. Well at 15 you think you know how to count right! Well they say count to 31 and 15 and get as many pairs as you can. Alright i can do this! So i get help the first round and i win of coarse from all the help ! second round they tell me your on your own, im thinking OMG can i do this........ So its my crib and were off and i win .... what can i say i can add.. Round three they tell me i can't win again as beginners luck wont last. Well to much of their surprise i win again. So this counting thing is working for me i guess it's my age

So theres a board with and s shape and alot holes init and pegs that fit. To move the pegs you need to add to 15 or 31 with all players cards combined. For example you get dealt a king a 7 and 8 and 5 and a 2. Now dealer puts aside one card and everybody else needs to get ride of one also to put into dealers crib, now i get ride of 2. now the rest of your cards you need to help yourself create points. By pairing, groups of 15 , 31. Tell more next time.

Good Ol Taboo... Who new you couldnt draw

Well a good night of taboo and WOW, You can really find out who can draw and who CANT. The stick men and women that appear, and never mind the anwers you will get the lauhter that fills the room. The paper that you go through , and BOY OH BOY you can really loose he track of time. Sometimes i think my five year old can draw better then some of my friends and family. Sitting at the table you learn so much about people you never new and that includes siblings and relatives , and friends. Its a great experience and you will absolutly learn from this whether you wanted to hear things or not.........

Air hockey ....... Is it just as good as those PLAY OFFS

I had a great game of air hockey against my cousin....... And boy of boy did i kick his butt.
We had a blast and everyone joined in family and friends. It lasted for hours. We had some sore hands the next day , but hey who every said girls cant play hockey.
Whens the rematch he says ...... When ever you get off the floor LOL.... Or until someone sweeps you up. LOL. Anytime you want , but you might want to get closer , theres still a lot of miles between us ...... So until i cross the ocean to see you again You will just have to wait.

No matter how far, those billards and table games will keep your family close together, never give up on them. And hockey will NEVER die in WINNIPEG....

Playen poker outside with a bon fire ......SWEET

An expected bon fire , with games of POKER on a beautiful night. Couldn't have asked for a better evening! Oh yes we even had sheep and cows running free as they may while we were playing POKER ! All those high cards slipping through my hands and everybody else is wining but me. But thats ok we had alot of fun and watched the SUN go down (beautiful sunset by the way) We need to do that again soon. Even got to ride some horses also very unexpected , bare back by the way, that was interesting for some....LOL

The kids tried snakes and ladders 3D. And had a blast. They loved the spining wheel and how you could get sent back to the beginging on a long snake.

To end the night with smores, can't go wrong with chocolate and marshmallows and graham crackers, they were tasty and especially when I got the stick that hit the ground which kids didnt say it hit the ground sooo Crunchy marshmellows smores is what I got....MMmmmmmm

I need a game of cards

Any one up for a game of cards , ill have alot of time on my hands as things are broken so what will it be black jack, 21 Jacks, dueces wild take your pick grab a table pull up a chair, im ready play.......

Getting warmer , things get a little crazy

So why is it when things get warmer the slurpee machines break down , ice cream case breaks down and sandwich case, now its been a month and they cant seem to fix it. Where does the madness stop. How many guys does it take, How many phone calls does it take, or emails. Oh yes and the floors bein g waxed well thats a story in it self and will take an extra couple of days to work out, theres only so many hours in my day how about yours. where does the madness stop and fix it self.

In the mean time we ride bikes and clean up , and read , theres no need to get mad as it wont get me any where , but my job is on the line for this so where do i step in... And make my point?

What a great day

What a beautiful day today , spent the evening outside, i ran while my daughter rode her bike. Might i add no training wheels , starts on her own and well brakes are her feet , we will get those brakes working soon..... I hope. Otherwise lots of wearing on those shoes. I feel great after that running after her! Next time i will be riding my bike beside and not working up the sweet i did today. We will see what becomes of tomorrow. Another beautiful means another bike ride in order. Yeah whoooooooooooo! :)

Poker any one

Anyone interested in playing some poker, got a table , and some chips and all its takes is some good ol friends to make the night. Its alot of fun so pick a night and rock and roll. Have a few drinks while your at it.

Had a very Relaxin day , even gotto take a nap, that doenst happen to often , so i enjoyed every minute of that 3 hour long nap , worst of all got a head ache, hope it goes away soon, this ones a doozy ,
